Country: France, Bourgogne Chablis
Grape Varieties:100 % Chardonnay
The majority of Marcel Servin Chablis is planted in the vineyard “Les Pargues” situated behind the Premier Crus Vaillons and Montmains. This vineyard benefits from the same quality exposition and soil as its prestigious neighbours. A fresh, vivacious style with intense floral aromas. Has a perfect balance, combining full, generous fruit flavours with finesse and elegance.
Terroir: Lime-clay soils are dominant, but the geological originality of appellation Chablis resides in its sub-strata, often quite near the surface, of kimmeridgean limestone, formed by billions of tiny fossilised oyster shells called Ostrea virgule.

Average Age of Vines: 30 – 35 years
Tasting Notes: The colour is a soft yellow with green/grey reflections. The nose is dominated by mineral elements blended with elegant notes of white and citrus fruits. The attack on the palate is fresh and well-balanced. One finds citrus aromas with a remarkably long fresh finish.
Food Pairing: To be enjoyed with grilled prawns flambéed with pastis. Serve between 10-12°C.
