Food Pairing: Roasted red meats (e.g., Beef Wellington), Game dishes (e.g., venison with lingonberries), Aged cheeses (e.g., Époisses or 36-month Comté)
Domaine Trapet Père et Fils, located in Gevrey-Chambertin, has been a key reference in Burgundy since its founding in the 19th century. This family estate produces wines of exceptional quality, renowned for their finesse and authenticity, precisely expressing the richness of the Côte de Nuits terroirs.
TRAPET
Jean-Louis Trapet, managing the Burgundy estate, and his wife Andrée Trapet, running their winery in Alsace, lead a dual biodynamic winemaking approach. Since the mid-1990s, the Domaine has embraced biodynamic farming, working first with Francois Bouchet and later with Pierre Masson. The Domaine has been certified organic (FR-BIO-01) since 1998, using no sulphur during harvest, vinification, or maturation—only adding a minimal dose at bottling.
